My dad is trying to find out everything he can about marine aquariums. And when I say everything, I mean everything. He's actually reading books on the subject! I think he knows enough to start a public aquarium! How much does he need to know, anyway? I bet he knows how to make a fish tank by now. Or maybe he isn't absorbing the information and needs too read a lot. I don't know.

Your dad, by doing all that research and educating himself, is actually setting himself up to make a smooth transition into the saltwater/marine aquarium hobby.
To be successful you have to be willing to learn and try to know it like nothing else! Your dad is well on his way!
